Youll be instrumental in designing and building scalable solutions that help authors succeed on Amazons publishing platform. Key job responsibilities:
1. Design and implement scalable, multi-tenant services that power our author support ecosystem.
2. Lead technical design discussions and mentor junior engineers.
3. Collaborate directly with internal users to understand pain points and craft efficient solutions.
4. Drive architectural decisions for new features and systems.
5. Build automation tools that streamline author support workflows.
6. Own end-to-end delivery of critical technical initiatives.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
- 3+ years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent.
