About the role
This ‘Outstanding’ SEND school, based in Northumberland, supports children and young people aged 2-19 and is looking to appoint a passionate Trainee Special Needs Teaching Assistant to work in Key Stage 1, 2, 3 or 4 on a full-time basis.
Working in this EYFS, Primary, Secondary and Post-16 SEND school as part of an established team, the desired Trainee Special Needs Teaching Assistant will be working on a small class sized basis with pupils with SEND including Autism (ASC), Complex Learning Difficulties and Disabilities, Speech and Language Communication, Physical Disabilities, Sensory Regulation, Visual or Auditory Sensory Impairment or Social Emotional and Mental Health. This full time Trainee Special Needs Teaching Assistant role is long term from September ongoing with the possibility of a permanent vacancy for the right person.
