What skills and experience we're looking for
The governors are looking to appoint a nursery assistant to work in our new daycare provision which we plan to open in January 2025. This will cater for children from 9 months – 2 years old. The role will work on a shift pattern all year round with the nursery being open from 8am – 6pm.
Experience of working with early years children is essential with at least an early years’ level two qualification. We are looking for a member of staff who works well as part of a team and is clear about how to support and develop children’s wellbeing and progress under the guidance of the managers. The candidate will have the ability to form positive relationships with young children quickly.
Safeguarding is a very important aspect of Ham Drive Nursery & Day Care. All applicants will be expected to have a full DBS check and disclose any issues which may be relevant to them working in a nursery.
