Who Does This Role Report Into? Associate Director - London Office Buildings
Role Summary / Purpose and Scope:
Overseeing day to day running of EdCity, London. The primary role will be the management of the office building, energy centre and the shared spaces in the development. The residential, school, nursery and education centre element is to be managed by others.
There will also be an Energy Centre and central comms services serving the whole development, situated in the office building, and landscaped public realm and cycle routes. High levels of Client Engagement and Customer services required, with good management of contractors, security staff, maintenance and cleaners as well as 3rd party contractors whilst having due regard to expenditure and current legislation.

* Mobilise the scheme to provide a safe environment for project close out, fitting out of tenant areas and operations;
* Effective management of post construction snagging and defect periods.
* Ensure building procedures are in place that support management of the building.
* Budget setting, management and reconciliation.
* Develop effective, proactive relationships with all occupiers.
* Ability to manage contractors to ensure PPM works and reactive maintenance is carried out inline with company policies and procedures.
* Monitor, coach and mentor all members of the hard and soft service partner site teams to deliver a one team ethos;
* Attention to detail and high levels of occupier engagement and customer service will be required.
* Seek opportunities for continuous improvement in service efficiency/effectiveness.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with adjoining developments and key stakeholders.
* Recruitment of key site staff.
* IOSH / Member of IWFM.
* Building Management/Contractor management.
* Time management & Excellent organisational skills.
* Proven experience in production and presentation of Client / management reports.
* Excellent organisational skills & strong interpersonal skills, capable of communicating at various levels.
* Effective line management skills.
* Effective PC skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft and Google packages.
* Proactive, flexible attitude to changes in the company, IT systems and the role.

Experience and Salary
Level of Experience / Certifications:
* Health & Safety - IOSH /NEBOSH desirable.
* RICS (Facilities Management) or working towards is desirable.
Working Hours: 37.5 hours
Salary Range (Based on Experience): £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
