Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced High-Performance Trading Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing and developing C++-based trading algorithms for high-frequency execution, collaborating with quant researchers and traders, and ensuring robustness and scalability in trading platforms focused on real-time data processing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and Develop Trading Algorithms: Create high-performance trading algorithms using C++ that can execute trades at high frequencies.
* Collaborate with Quant Researchers and Traders: Work closely with quant researchers and traders to integrate and optimise trading strategies.
* Ensure Trading Platform Robustness and Scalability: Ensure that trading platforms can handle real-time data processing and are scalable to meet the demands of high-volume trading environments.
* Enhance System Performance: Continuously enhance system performance and reliability in high-volume trading environments.
* Apply Advanced Techniques: Apply advanced techniques in C++ such as multi-threading and memory management to improve system performance.
Requirements:
* Commercial Quantitative Development Experience: Proven experience in commercial quantitative development.
* Experience in HFT, Hedge Funds, or Proprietary Trading Organisations: Experience working within high-frequency trading (HFT), hedge funds, or proprietary trading organisations.
* Java and/or C++ Experience: Experience in Java and/or C++ programming languages.
* Quantitative Finance Knowledge: Deep understanding of quantitative finance, algorithmic trading, and market microstructure.
