The Role for a Design Coordinator
As a Design Coordinator you will be working on commercial fit outs / refurbishments and office-to-residential conversions, providing a unique turnkey solution. Sitting in the Design team you will be working closely with the project teams consisting of in-house planners, architects and quantity surveyors to ensure a superior client outcome and experience.
The role will involve overseeing the entire design process, from initial concept development to final delivery, and you will be expected to provide guidance and support to the design team throughout the project life cycle.
My clients office is located in Leeds. However, the role would require national travel to visit projects with sites currently being in Leeds, Sheffield, Wakefield, Manchester, Harrogate, Nottingham and Reading.
Requirements for a Design Coordinator
2-3 years experience working for a construction main contractor
Relevant Design/Architecture related qualification or degree
Valid UK Driving License
Proven experience in coordinating design projects.
Strong understanding of design principles and processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
