Job Title: Stock & Systems Analyst

Our client is a leading Non-Food FMCG Distributor who is currently recruiting for a dynamic, MS Excel led Stock & Systems Analyst to be responsible for the stock and systems integrity across all areas of the distribution centre covering all its storage facilities and system alignment.
The role will also require a strong analytical approach, with focus areas such as systems, stock integrity, and ways of working. Proven skills in stock and systems management within an operational and IT process environment. Report creation & development plays a very important aspect within this role, sharing regular insight with the operation teams to support continuous improvement for the business.
Key Accountabilities as Stock & Systems Analyst:
1. Plan, forecast and report performance, analyse data to highlight trends and plan improvements and opportunities.
2. Advanced knowledge & understanding of Microsoft Excel.
3. Ensure accurate information is conveyed throughout the operational team using the correct communication channels and methods.
4. Plan and propose overstocks and potential storage cost saving opportunities to clients, working closely with all operations management levels.
5. Ensure the highest standards of housekeeping are maintained both physical and systemic.
6. Identify processes and systems where improvement is required to deliver the service customers expect.
7. Propose solutions to deliver these improvements.
8. Drive workflow in the distribution centre, by ensuring high levels of stock integrity and in place at the correct facility.
9. Report and communicate monthly all perpetual inventory results to both internal & external stakeholders.
10. Collect reports from various systems to complete biannual emission and environmental compliance submissions.
11. Support all audit counts and third-party relations, expectations, and data requirements.
12. Lead operations contact for IT when required with all system interfaces to ensure the stock reconciliation is always accurate.
13. Advanced Computer literacy with an excellent understanding of all systems used, in many cases acting as a super user being able to pass knowledge to others.
14. Embrace Continuous improvement and be comfortable challenging the status quo.
15. Ability to manage change with involvement at all stages, from planning and testing through to implementation.
The Ideal Person for the Stock & Systems Analyst:
1. Experience of stock & systems management.
2. Advanced MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts).
3. Ability to effectively manage relationships with internal and external partners.
4. Comfortable working with people at all levels.
5. Report Building (KPI’s, excess stock).
6. Customer focused.
7. Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual.
