The Role & Key Responsibilities
From your first day with us you will be part of a policing family making a real difference. It is our mission to identify and protect vulnerable people, prevent and respond to harm and keep people safe.
In this role you will be responsible for:
1. Good interpersonal and communication skills to deal confidently, courteously and efficiently with enquiries both internally and externally, demonstrating high levels of customer care.
2. Effectively managing customer expectations and working as a team member with competing demands and pressures.
3. Working unsupervised in the absence of a line manager, maintaining and prioritising own work, taking the initiative to resolve problems and make sound judgements and decisions at all times.
4. Being flexible and able to cope with and apply new procedures and working practices to assist with organisational and procedural changes.
5. Maintaining a high level of integrity and being aware of the need for confidentiality and security of all operational material.
Skills & Experience
* Strong administration and organisational skills.
* The ability to organise your own time and workload.
* Attention to detail.
* The ability to think clearly using logic and reasoning.
* A team player with the ability to work well with others.
* Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
* Competent standard and knowledge of the main software packages including Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Teams.
