Campingland Surgery is looking to recruit an advanced nurse practitioner to join our multi-disciplinary team, to help us to transform & modernise pathways of care, enabling the safe & effective sharing of skills across traditional professional boundaries. This position is available on a full or part-time basis. The successful candidate may come from a range of professional backgrounds; as an experienced healthcare professional, educated to master’s level, they will have developed the skills & knowledge to allow them to take on an expanded role & scope-of-practice caring for patients. The post holder will: Demonstrate a high level of expertise within the specialist service providing advice, education & support to staff, patients, families and carers. Practice autonomously as an advanced clinical practitioner within the designated speciality area to provide patient-centred clinical care. This will encompass the skills of advanced clinical assessment, examination, diagnosis & treatment within an agreed scope of practice throughout the directorate. Support new ways of working to emphasise a more efficient & patient-focused service, ensuring the safe treatment, referral & discharge of patients with undifferentiated & undiagnosed presentations in their area. Lead the on-going development of clinical practice & standards of care within the service, including the development of policies, procedures, protocols & guidelines in collaboration with multidisciplinary colleagues. Qualifications, skills and experience required: Professional registration with relevant professional body: NMC, HCPC or GPhC. Post-graduate qualification in specific speciality, or equivalent experience. Post-registration experience at a senior level (Band 7 or above) in specialty area. Evidence of on-going CPD. Advanced clinical assessment skills. Excellent communication skills. Ability to perform in stressful and complex situations. Sound clinical reasoning & decision making. Flexibility. Ability to inspire and lead a team. About Us Campingland Surgery was built in 1965 and is situated close to the centre of Swaffham. The practice prides itself on its family-focused, traditional approach to healthcare, comprising of a 5 GP partnership. Our current population is approx. 7500. We have an onsite dispensary and provide medication support to our 2 care homes that we look after. Our last CQC was rated "Good".
