BCHA are a diverse and growing specialist housing, learning and support provider based in the South West. We provide support to our customers who may be facing a range of issues such as homelessness, domestic abuse, modern slavery, mental health and substance misuse.
BCHA is very proud and excited to be part of the Homelessness Partnership Group working in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP). More than 40 local organisations (statutory, business, charity and community) have a shared commitment to end homelessness across the area ‘by ensuring everyone has a safe place to live that they can call home’.
BCHA is seeking a skilled Communications Officer to lead our communication strategies, enhance brand awareness, and drive engagement across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
* Brand Leadership: Ensure all communications align with BCHA’s brand guidelines and values.
* Campaigns: Develop and execute integrated communication campaigns that resonate with our audience.
* Content Creation: Produce engaging videos, graphics, and digital content using tools like Canva. Keep our website and social media channels updated and optimized.
* Training & Support: Lead webinars and workshops, providing communication expertise to internal and external stakeholders.
* Social Media: Manage and schedule content across platforms, engage with audiences, and monitor performance using Hootsuite.
* Analytics & Reporting: Track and report on communication effectiveness, providing insights to the Executive team.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with colleagues and external partners to develop and implement effective communication plans.

Proven Experience in Communications and Digital Marketing: Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful communication strategies across multiple platforms, including social media, websites, and digital content creation.
Strong Brand Management Skills: Ability to maintain brand consistency across all communications, with experience in content creation tools like Canva, and managing content through CMS platforms.
