Actemium Mechanical – Project Support Administrator, Daventry
Actemium Mechanical specializes in the bespoke design and fabrication of process-related projects.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Administrator to join our rapidly growing Mechanical Engineering team. You will support the successful delivery of projects and programmes designed to achieve strategic company objectives. Projects must be managed, critically evaluated, and reviewed in a continuous improvement process, shaped in close collaboration with Sector Leads and Contract Engineers to ensure consistent delivery against objectives and specifications.
Our work predominantly spans the Feed, Food & Beverage, and Automotive sectors. Other sectors in development include Nuclear, HVAC, Waste & Renewables.

1. Involvement in new Customer Projects from initial development to site installation/commissioning and internal development projects.
2. Ongoing support for projects during fabrication as required.
3. Liaising between Customers, Suppliers, Design Engineers, and Workshop teams.
4. Supporting the delivery of our Engineering project portfolio to meet core company and functional objectives.
5. Ensuring quality reporting and communication for assigned projects to programme leads and the wider Product Engineering team.
6. Managing project schedules to ensure timely development.
7. Motivating, guiding, and holding the project delivery teams accountable.
8. Preparing and submitting status reports to stakeholders and management.
9. Driving continuous improvement within projects.
10. Capturing and distributing meeting minutes and tracking actions to closure.
11. Participating in departmental meetings, taking notes, and following up on tasks.
12. Working within a “start-up” culture that values creativity and innovative thinking.
13. Maintaining good organizational skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
14. Possessing strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
15. Being proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project.
16. Having GCSEs in Maths and English is advantageous.
17. Paying attention to detail and taking responsibility for tasks.
18. Working independently and as part of a team.
19. Being flexible and willing to undertake various tasks as needed.
20. Keen to learn and develop skills related to health and safety, environment, and quality aspects of the business.
