At Ashley House, a caring and professional team provide personalised nursing and residential care, as well as offering convalescence, palliative and respite care. As well as single occupancy rooms, there are six rooms which are ideal for couples.
Located in the picturesque town of Cirencester, the purpose-built home offers a high level of comfort and all bedrooms have en-suite wet rooms and a 24-hour call system. The main lounge looks out onto pretty gardens and has comfortable seating for socialising, while a library and smaller lounge offer residents the opportunity to enjoy some quiet time.
Ashley House is committed to providing tasty and appealing food. The on-site chef caters for all dietary requirements and uses only fresh ingredients.
You’ll help us make health happen by:
* Using your passion for cooking and experience in a fresh food kitchen to create a varied and nutritional menu in line with the dietary needs and preferences of our residents
* Using your natural leadership skills to train and mentor the kitchen team to deliver an excellent dining experience
* Being innovative in your approach to cooking and maintaining high standards
* Managing all mandatory paperwork including: adhering to COSHH and HACCP guidelines, company policies and procedures, budgets, managing orders and deliveries
* Catering for special events or seasonal activities, such as summer fetes, Christmas parties and birthdays (as required)

* You will also be eligible to receive a bonus based on your performance. Chef Managers who achieve 6 KPIs will receive a quarterly incentive of £500, that’s £2000 per year (subject to usual tax & NI deductions)
** Your starter bonus will be paid to you in the next available pay run once you have completed four weeks’ service and will be subject to deductions for tax and NI.
