We have an exciting opportunity for a Scheme Manager to join our Housing Operations team in Rayleigh. As a Scheme Manager, you will be responsible for providing a high quality housing management service to ensure premises are safe, secure and well maintained. In an environment where no two days are the same, you will also be responsible for promoting independent living, through providing information and/or signposting residents to local services that may meet their needs. Our Scheme Managers also assist in arranging coffee mornings and attend drop in sessions for Sanctuary Customers.
This is a rewarding yet challenging role and is ideal for someone who has a strong background and experience in the support of elderly and vulnerable people in a housing management setting having awareness of safeguarding concerns.
The role of Scheme Manager will include:
- Supporting residents by providing information to promote independence, good health and wellbeing
- Completing mandatory compliance tasks along with health and safety checks
- Reporting and monitoring repairs to conclusion, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed
- Delivering exceptional customer service by resolving problems and complaints
- Providing administrative support, including maintaining accurate records in a timely manner
Skills and experiences:
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Good practice and knowledge of Health & Safety / compliance
- Good interpersonal and customer care skills with previous experience of managing schemes
- Proficient User of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
