Our client are on the look out for an experienced Payroll Accountant on a full time, permanent basis.
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Accountant for a growing Property business based in Hertfordshire. The ideal candidate will have experience with high volume payroll processing (weekly and monthly) and the ability to manage discrepancies in a timely, professional manner.
We are looking for a candidate with a collaborative work approach, the ability to manage a busy work load adhering to deadlines.
This role is offered on a permanent basis, offering hybrid working with the expectation of 1-2 days in the office every week.
Key responsibilities:
1. Assist in preparing the weekly and monthly payroll
2. Responsible for managing discrepancies and queries in a timely manner
3. Assist team in data manipulation and data upload of payroll input data received from various areas of the business
4. Calculating holiday pay and maintaining an excel spreadsheet
5. Maintain an Excel spreadsheet and calculate sick pay for employees.
Key skills:
6. Ideally 2 years+ experience working within a Payroll function
7. Experience dealing with company benefits would be highly desirable
8. Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
9. IT savvy with a solid understanding of Excel including V look ups
10. Excellent communication skills with a collaborative work approach
11. Confident managing queries both on the phone and via email
