Position Purpose:
Under general direction, provides customer service, billing/pricing/collections resolution, contract administration, service issues, information management, customer file maintenance, record generation and grow new and secured base business through service level upgrades and expanded product offerings for assigned Corporate Accounts on a daily basis.
Key Job Activities:
1. Provides dedicated customer service/support via telephone, email, web, and mail to assigned LQ or MQ Corporate Account customers. This includes, but is not limited to: invoice questions, missed pick-ups, contract inquiries, pricing issues, complaints, account updates, etc. Follows up with customers on a regular basis to ensure that resolution meets their needs. Work as a liaison for Stericycle in relation to escalated issues for LQ or MQ Corporate Accounts.
2. Responsible for generating Central Billing for LQ or MQ Corporate Accounts and partnering with the Corporate Accounts Manager and Contract Admin on pricing updates. Works with appropriate Inter-Departmental contracts to prepare and distribute invoices and collections for assigned customers. Calls/contacts customers, when necessary, regarding outstanding balances.
3. Maintain customer profiles and account records through periodic sales calls to establish and build relationships.
4. Understand and maintain pricing for all assigned and new LQ or MQ Corporate Accounts and implement Corporate Agreements that are consistent with Stericycle’s financial objectives. Ensures that additions, changes, and deletions to all customer information is correctly updated within the billing systems.
5. Provides regular and ad-hoc reporting and assistance to various Stericycle Managers. This could include, but not be limited to, customer revenue and volume trend analysis, pricing analysis, new/dropped site statistics, ad-hoc search requests and/or reports, general data warehouse statistics information, and/or in the preparation of presentations.
6. Serve as LQ or MQ Corporate Account liaison to customers and Stericycle’s operations. Coordinates, communicates, and resolves problems through collaboration between the Corporate Account Manager and the customer.
7. Acts and communicates as a subject matter expert, trainer, coach, and key reference contact. Provides experienced direction, input and guidance to team members and various members of management.
8. Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
Education:
Preferred Education: Associates or Equivalent
Experience:
1. Associate degree or equivalent.
2. Three or more years of related work experience in a LQ or MQ Customer Service/Collections environment, demonstrating analytical tasks while providing excellent customer service to all customers & sales reps preferred.
3. Demonstrates a sound understanding of LQ or MQ Corporate Account selling practices, billing and invoice structure, adjustments, pricing structures, Central Bill, and the willingness to participate as an active member of a contract negotiation team.
4. Demonstrates an elevated level of knowledge of Microsoft Office including but not limited to Excel, Word, Access, Steriworks, SalesForce, STARS, Credit Tool, and PowerPoint; and a general knowledge of general database use.
Compensation: $21.29 - $26.00 hourly
