Our well-established client is seeking a well-organised individual to join their growing team. They are a UK leading provider of testing services using their state-of-the-art laboratory.
Main Duties
1. To act as the first point of contact for phone enquiries with a professional telephone manner.
2. To chase sub-contracted work.
3. To support client emails and assist the admin team with general day-to-day workload.
4. To deal with queries.
5. To make general orders.
6. To carry out ad-hoc duties.
7. To take responsibility for own Health & Safety whilst at work.
8. To report any bad practices witnessed to the Sample Prep Manager.
Essential Skills Required
1. Experience in an administrative role.
2. Strong prioritisation and organisational skills.
3. Positive attitude towards change.
4. Adaptability to use various in-house systems and processes.
5. Close attention to detail and an understanding of operating within a quality system.
6. Good IT skills (Microsoft-based products, in particular Excel and Word).
7. Good written and verbal communication.
Desirable
1. Experience in a customer service/admin role.
2. Scientific education background, but not essential.
3. Knowledge of an industry work stream (Laboratory, analytical Chemistry, Geotechnical testing, etc.).
