This demanding, but highly rewarding, role would suit a candidate who has initiative and is able to support and manage young people individually, as well as part of a close team. The job is varied and includes liaising with senior managers and managing referrals from external agencies, through to handling day-to-day issues arising from pupils, whilst maintaining their focus on individual achievement and improved academic outcomes.
Within the Pastoral team, there is a wealth of experience, good practice and commitment. We firmly believe in collaboration and sharing of ideas to develop professional expertise and we seek an equally enthusiastic, innovative and dedicated colleague to help us build on our success.

Our aim at Olchfa is to provide a secure and caring learning environment in which all young people can achieve their full potential and where they can explore opportunities for involvement in both the school and its wider Community. The Pastoral team plays a key role across the school in ensuring the foundations are in place to achieve this aim. For our staff, we offer a positive working environment, personal and professional development, a strong team ethos, and recognition for a job well done.
