SHEQ / Facilities Manager

37.5 hours Monday - Friday

Main Duties:
* Ensure all employees, contractors, and vendors at the site comply with health and safety regulations
* Develop and implement policies and procedures to proactively maintain a safe and compliant work environment for employees, contractors, and visitors
* Oversee the governance of the Engineering Management of Change (EMOC) and Organisational Management of Change (OMOC) processes for the site
* Communicate effectively with employees, contractors, and vendors in a considerate and inclusive manner
* Drive improvements and contribute new ideas to enhance the facility's safety and operations
* Support cross-functional teams to promote and sustain a safety-first culture
Key Skills:
* Professional qualifications and membership with relevant bodies (e.g., Level 3 Diploma in Facilities Management, IOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH)
* Strong communication and listening skills, with the ability to network and build positive relationships with employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors
* Previous experience in a professional setting, with expertise in Safety and Facilities Management and a passion for collaborating with others
* In-depth knowledge of Safety and Facilities Management legislation and compliance
* Dependable with a flexible and adaptable approach
* Motivated to succeed, develop, learn new skills, and embrace challenges
