Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Qualified and Registered senior Health Play Specialist to join our Play and Youth Team in the department of Child Health. The post holder can demonstrate they have experience of supporting junior staff and/or student and has leadership skills and teamwork techniques. To manage and be responsible in using theoretical knowledge and evidence-based practice to assess, plan, implement and evaluate therapeutic play interventions in hospital which encompass the development and emotional needs of BCYP. To participate in safeguarding children and young people within the Trust to ensure their safety and to adhere to the safeguarding policy.
