Job Description
Key Responsibilities for the Payroll Assistant:
* Process weekly payroll
* Manually add time sheets onto the Payroll system
* Raise self-bills and umbrella invoices
* Add expenses for contractors as necessary
* Conduct new starter checks
* Onboard new clients as required
* Set up payment runs
* Process payments off Sage accounts
* Handle contractor/client queries via phone or email
* Assist with sending statements on accounts to clients as required
* Provide assistance elsewhere when needed
The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate for the Payroll Assistant:
* Knowledge of Excel
* Able to pick up systems easily
* Good oral and written communication skills
