An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Registered Nurse within Morningfield House, Woodend Hospital. The ward has a 20 bedded capacity that cares for male and female elderly patients who require long-term hospital care and interim care.
The applicant should have a genuine interest in the care of the elderly, good communication skills, an ability to plan and prioritize your workload, and be able to delegate and take charge during a shift. The applicant should also be committed to delivering high standards of care and be flexible to meet service delivery needs. There will be opportunities for development.
The ward operates on a 12-hour shift pattern, and the posts are rotational between night and day duty.
This post is currently based in Morningfield House; however, you may be asked to work in another area of Woodend or the Links Unit to meet service needs to ensure the delivery of safe patient care.
