Head Chef (12-Month Contract)
Contract: 12 months (with potential for extension)
Cuisine: Seasonal British, 3AA Rosette Standard
This restaurant is an acclaimed dining destination, renowned for the commitment to excellence and proud to hold 3AA Rosettes for an exceptional seasonal British menu. The kitchen is fuelled by passion, creativity, and a dedication to using the finest locally sourced ingredients. I'm seeking a dynamic and talented Head Chef to lead the culinary team for a 12-month contract.
As Head Chef, you will be responsible for:
* Leading, inspiring, and motivating the kitchen brigade.
* Maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation, befitting our 3AA Rosette status.
* Crafting innovative, seasonal British dishes using fresh, local ingredients.
* Managing kitchen operations, including stock control, hygiene, and team training.
* Collaborating closely with the management team to develop new menus and seasonal specials.
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Head Chef requirements
* Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fine dining environment.
* A passion for British cuisine with a modern twist and a keen eye for presentation.
* Excellent leadership skills and the ability to develop and inspire the kitchen team.
* Strong organizational and time management abilities.
* Commitment to maintaining our 3AA Rosette standards.
* Relevant culinary qualifications and food hygiene certifications.
