In addition to enhancing our electrical capabilities, you’ll play a key role in installing, adapting, and commissioning new machinery as we shift towards automation in some areas of the business in the future. You’ll be an integral part of our mission to replace outdated systems and update our machinery that will shape the future of our operations. Comprehensive benefits, including a company pension scheme Key Responsibilities Conduct preventive and reactive maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment. Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults quickly to minimize downtime Collaborate with teams to install, adapt, and commission new machinery, tailoring it to meet the business's needs. Help the company move toward greater automation and adopt innovative practices. Maintain accurate maintenance records and adhere to scheduled maintenance plans. Take a hands-on, proactive approach to mechanical maintenance, including pneumatics and hydraulics. What We’re Looking For Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role within manufacturing or industrial environments. NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or a related field. 18th Edtion electrical wiring regulations qualification Strong expertise in electrical systems, PLC fault-finding, and automation. Solid mechanical knowledge, including pneumatics and hydraulics. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. A proactive mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to health and safety practices.
