About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant, ideally with experience in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to join our team. You will play a key role in supporting our pupils, ensuring they have the opportunity to reach their full potential in an inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
2. Providing individual and small group support to students
3. Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
4. Supporting students with SEND in their day-to-day learning, providing one-on-one and small group assistance.
5. Assisting the class teacher in implementing tailored education plans to meet the needs of SEND pupils.
6. Fostering a nurturing, supportive, and safe classroom environment.
7. Monitoring and tracking pupil progress, communicating effectively with teaching staff and parents.
8. Encouraging independence, positive behaviour, and social interaction among pupils.
9. Supporting the development of social skills, emotional regulation, and academic progress.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Relevant Teaching Assistant Qualification
