The Community Support Team is looking for an experienced Community Nurse/Nursing Sister seeking work in a friendly and supportive team which provides excellent care for community members and service users in our new extra care facility Tussac House. Tussac House, will support older adults to live independently in their own apartments while providing 24-hour care and assistance, who have a variety of care needs through to and including end of life care. As well as supporting Tussac House, the Community Nursing Sister will be responsible for the day-to-day clinical care for members of the community in Stanley. This will include daily tasks such as wound care, medication, and assessment management. This role gives a high degree of autonomy, while utilising your nursing expertise. The community environment is one in which clinical staff have the time, resources, and support to provide the highest standards of care and to develop their careers. In addition to being supported to practise with a broad scope, clinical staff are encouraged and assisted to develop areas of clinical expertise. A gratuity (lump sum payment) on completion of the contract term equivalent to 25% of the total base salary value of the contract. A relocation allowance to help with moving costs. Free flights for the employee and dependants at the beginning and end of the contract plus additional annual return flights after the first year.
