Service Supervisor

Our client is looking to recruit a Service Supervisor to support the field service team in providing outstanding customer service, ensuring the efficient and effective running of the service team by allocating workloads to Field Service Engineers and responding to customers' service requirements in line with the customer charter.
Role Accountabilities:
1. Schedule and delegate workloads effectively to Field Service Engineers, coordinating and managing resources needed to meet set targets.
2. Manage all customer queries and resolve issues in coordination with the relevant departments.
3. Effective use of Telematics system to monitor team movements and our machines to ensure a high level of service experience to customers.
4. Determine adequate skill and performance of staff to ensure they are technically sound and updated, to enhance their productivity.
5. Provide guidance to the team to keep them motivated and help them achieve individual and team-based performance goals.
Key Performance Indicators:
1. Completion of all documentation on time.
2. Customer Satisfaction Rating within agreed range.
3. Warranty returns.
4. Job opening/closing.

Required Qualifications or Experience:
Essential:
1. Experience of Heavy plant and machinery.
2. Previous experience managing engineers' workloads.
3. GCSEs or equivalent.
4. Excellent customer relations.
5. Ability to work under pressure.
6. Strong communication skills.
7. Previous supervisory experience.
8. Relationship building both internally and with customers.
9. IT literate.
Desirable:
1. Worked in a similar environment previously.
2. Technical knowledge of Heavy Plant Machinery products.
