Our client, a family-run company specializing in the sales of sofas and beds, is looking for a competent and driven Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of both the store and warehouse based in Gloucester.
You will be responsible for overseeing 6 members of staff as well as the management of customer services, logistics, fulfillment, and sales & marketing. You will also monitor key KPIs such as delivery success rate, customer satisfaction, and order value, volume & upsells.
Working closely with the Directors, you need to be a highly dedicated and experienced Manager willing to take on the responsibility of running both the online & retail stores and managing the warehouse. Industry knowledge and training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensuring deliveries are carried out smoothly & effectively with a very high success rate
2. Work with couriers and other services to coordinate services for customers
3. Handle most of the incoming customer service requests
4. Warehouse & inventory management
5. Maximize sales volume both in-store and online
6. Keep in-store and online customer service standards high
7. Delivery route planning for the week ahead
8. Handle all after-sale customer communications to ensure an exceptional delivery & follow-up service
9. Management of 6 staff across 2 locations & out on the road
10. Organize & systemize the warehouse & sales funnel to ensure accurate stock records are kept
11. Assist in unloading and loading vans & lorries when required
12. Hiring and training new staff members
13. Management of staff holidays & sickness
Candidate Attributes:

Hours: Full-time hours with weekend working
Salary: Up to £50k per annum depending on experience
