SEN Teaching Assistant (Part Time)

£12.83 - £15 per hour (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities? A welcoming Primary school based in the Speke area is looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team after February Half-term. The role will be supporting children with special educational needs across key stages who have SEMH needs. The school values and cares for every member of their school community and works as a team to ensure that pupils are the best they can possibly be. The successful candidate will be pro-active and engaging, with a strength in positive behaviour management. The position is part-time, working Thursday and Friday each week and is confirmed until the end of the academic year. There is the opportunity for this role to go temporary-to-permanent for the right candidate.
Requirements
1. Experience of working with primary aged children.
2. Experience working with children with a SEND background/on a 1-1 basis.
3. Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
