Overview:An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join a well-established company based in Chesterfield. The role is offered on a hybrid basis, with 3 days working in the office and 2 days from home. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with at least 2 years of payroll experience to join a dynamic and supportive team, reporting to the Payroll Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Payroll Administration: Manage client payrolls with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring all submissions meet agreed timelines and HMRC deadlines.
2. HMRC Compliance: Prepare and submit all relevant returns to HMRC, staying up-to-date with current tax codes and legislation.
3. Statutory Payments: Maintain a thorough understanding of statutory payments and eligibility, including any necessary training.
4. Pension Scheme Administration: Manage client pension schemes, ensuring all changes are applied correctly and that deadlines are met.
5. Year-End Processes: Complete all year-end activities in a timely manner, including the distribution of P60 documents.
