Job Description
Shift: Sunday to Thursday 22:00 - 07:30
Start a new role for the UK’s largest foodservice provider. To join us as a member of our warehouse team in Brighton, you don’t need any previous experience – just the enthusiasm to learn and become part of our team. For this role, you also need a full UK driving licence. At Brakes, we have a diverse and inclusive culture that empowers our people to be the best they can be. As the UK industry leader, we offer job security and career development, along with the family feel, rewards, and recognition of our friendly warehouse team in Brighton.
You will be unloading HGV vehicles with products from our Harlow depot using equipment such as PPTs and roll cages. Using handheld scanners, you will help to manage the movement of stock in and out of the site, as well as shunting HGV vehicles around the yard in preparation for loading. It starts with a full induction, but with our backing and optional accredited training that includes forklift, first aid, and even HGV driving, there’s no limit to your potential. In fact, almost 90% of our managers started here, so there are plenty of opportunities to move shifts, roles, and advance your career.
As well as an eye for detail, you’ll need to be physically fit to lift weights of up to 25kg and have your own transport to get here. In return, you’ll enjoy job stability and benefits such as:
* Heavily discounted quality food through staff sales
* Free onsite parking
* Additional holiday purchase
* Reward, recognition, and referral schemes
* Charitable events to get involved with
* Cycle to work scheme
