Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
* Install, maintain and repair electrical systems and lighting fixtures in a safe and efficient manner.
* Collaborate with the Lighting Project team, subcontractors and Project Manager to meet project deadlines.
* Work extended hours, including nights and weekends, as required by the project schedule.
* Read and interpret electrical drawings, diagrams and schematics to complete installations correctly.
* Produce high-quality work with minimal rework requirements.
* Maintain a strong understanding of health and safety legislation and regulations.
Requirements:
* Hold current 18th Edition IEE qualifications.
* Be familiar with 2383-18 (18th Edition Update) and 2391-52 (Test and Inspection).
* Have knowledge of EV charging units and IPAF/PASMA certifications.
* Be able to work at heights up to 3 meters and lift weights up to 25kg.
* Effectively prioritize workload and manage time efficiently.
* Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a strong customer care focus.
* Solve problems effectively and adapt to industry changes.
* Complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time.
* Understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
* Work safely and diligently, with minimal supervision when necessary.
* Meet deadlines and be responsible for company vehicle and materials.
* Perform additional duties as instructed by the Project Manager.
Essential Skills:
* Full UK driving license.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities.
* Self-motivation and ability to work under pressure.
* Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and installations.
Estimated Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum
