The Role: As a Shift Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for: Planned and reactive maintenance, remedial works, and emergency response. Operating on a continental shift pattern (days and nights). Maintaining critical systems such as single and three-phase power, motors, generators (on/off-load tests), UPS systems, LV/HV switching, emergency lighting, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAC units, sprinkler systems, pumps, and BMS. Conducting fire alarm testing, shutdowns, and general plant maintenance. Managing subcontractors, quotations, health & safety compliance, risk assessments, logbooks, and permits to work. Requirements: A recognised qualification such as City & Guilds / NVQ in Electrical Installations or Mechanical Engineering. A minimum of 3 years' experience in building services maintenance.
