About the role:
As Device Characterization Engineer, you will join our talented and ambitious GaN R&D team, directly contributing to our ability to successfully produce GaN devices.
This is your new job:
Undertake electrical verification activities, encompassing wafer and product-level testing
* Support test and characterization concepts and implementation initiatives, and propose new test and characterization setups to solve issues
* Collaborate closely with device, product, and application engineers to develop test solutions that benefit product development, quality, and customer requirements
* Consider all product aspects from design-to-manufacturing to effective cost structure
This is you:
* Master's Degree or equivalent in Experimental Physics, Electronics Engineering, or a similar discipline, PhD strongly preferred
* Experience in the test and characterization of high voltage power semiconductor devices, familiarity with Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) desirable but not required
* Team player with strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset
* Good communication skills in English (both spoken and written), German or Chinese a plus
