Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic business in the Normanton area as they look to recruit a Management Accountant into their team on a full time, fixed- term basis (initially until July 25) Benefits for Management Accountant: 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays) Hybrid Working (3 days office / 2 days home) Annual Bonus scheme Enhanced pension 4 x Life Assurance Free onsite car parking High street discount scheme Plus many more Responsibilities for Management Accountant: Business partnering to support decision making and helping them understand the financial impact of those decisions Ownership of weekly Commercial meetings Providing decision support and financial insight into trends and prior performance to help inform future decisions Ownership of the weekly financial MI and providing analysis Forecasting future P&L risks and opportunities Providing insight on cost performance Assisting with the preparation of the yearly budget Planning and review of overhead budgets, Production of ad hoc management information using various systems Person Specification for Management Accountant: Part Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) Good IT knowledge – Microsoft Excel Ability to analyse and interpret large volumes of information Excellent attention to detail with an analytical approach to solving problems Strong communication and influencing skills Enthusiastic and driven with a real passion for developing yourself Able to adapt and keep pace with a fast moving environment Commercial awareness and understanding of core business processes This is a Fixed Term Contract, initially until July 2025 to cover maternity leave (potential for permanent) you must be able to commence this position ASAP.
