Link Contracting is a fast-growing maintenance and construction company. We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Electrical Contracts Manager to join our award-winning team. Based at our Head Office in Wigan, you will be responsible for a team delivering projects and day-to-day maintenance throughout the UK.
Role overview:
1. Managing and mentoring members of the office-based and engineer regional teams.
2. Ensure health and safety compliance is always maintained on sites and work locations including completing and issuing relevant RAMS where required.
3. Dealing with customer enquiries and concerns promptly.
4. Meet clients, assess work and produce quotations and deliver within budget.
5. Taking reports and implementing procedural decisions to improve (KPIs and ways of working).
6. Ensure the highest quality of service is being provided by our engineers and sub-contractors.
7. Work closely with the Contract Support Team to ensure required information is collated and added to the system.
8. Validation of test certificates produced by engineers.
9. The role is predominantly office-based; however, occasional site visits will be required.
10. Candidates must have an electrical background and a passion for customer service.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations – Required
2. C&G 2391 Test and Inspection – Required
3. ECS / CSCS Card – Required
4. Full Driving Licence – Required
5. Asbestos Awareness – Desirable
6. IOSH – Desirable
7. Basic IT Skills – Required
We are offering:
1. Permanent, full-time contract
2. Salary: Dependent on experience
3. Benefits: Company Vehicle + fuel card (business use only)
4. Hours: 42.5hrs per week, Mon-Fri, 08:00am-17:00pm
5. Holidays: 22 days per annum, plus 8 Bank Holidays
