X3 Housing Recovery Coordinators
Permanent, Full Time 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Location: The roles will be dispersed within County Durham working alongside housing solutions and County Durham Drug and Alcohol Service.
Must hold a valid UK Driving Licence and access to a Vehicle.
About the role
We are looking to recruit a team of highly motivated Housing Recovery Workers to work across Durham County. The most important things you’ll bring to this role are your positive attitude, enthusiasm, integrity and ability to use initiative as well as your belief in our ambition: to eliminate the problems of housing associated with alcohol and drug use.
This is your chance to join a new team aiming to address the housing needs of those in treatment and improve engagement in treatment of those working with Housing Solutions or living in temporary accommodation. You will contribute to this position by providing support and advice to those involved in substance misuse where this creates a barrier to housing.
You’ll need to be able to work with service users holistically, helping them to access other services that can help with the practical problems they may be facing as a result of their substance misuse (e.g. housing, financial, healthcare etc).
