The Role
An exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to join our busy team.
Applications are invited from committed, reliable and proactive individuals, capable of operating efficiently in a fast paced, dynamic working environment. Reporting directly to the Freight Manager, candidates will have strong communication skills, be highly organised and have exceptional attention to detail. The Supply Chain Administrator plays a key role within the team, supporting and maintaining all related documentation, systems and records. Liaising with service providers and key stakeholders as required in line with procedures and maintaining accurate details of warehouse stock, transfer movements and associated customs requirements.
Training will be provided where necessary.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and maintain constructive relationships with all service providers and stakeholders
* Effective administration assistance for Import arrivals, export and customer collections
* Coordination of airline, shipping line or road hauliers
* Processing, filing and monitoring all shipping documentation
* Accurate data entry and management, invoice processing and all customs processes
* Timely checking of invoices, authorising and applying to accounting system
* Maintain exchange rates, product codes, tariff codes and supplier details
* Monitor, record and report on temperature controls, highlighting areas of concern and assisting with claims
* Monitor and report on transport orders utilising vehicles to obtain best daily costings
* Record/update all weekly and monthly budget trackers
* Assist with Self-auditing of Import Entries
* Provide assistance to the wider team as and when required
Requirements
Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
* Previous administration support experience
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Attention to detail
* High level of numeracy
* Proficient in the use of MS Office applications, emails and the internet
