SEN Assistant - Maidenhead Immediate Start - Full-Time Teaching Assistant for children with Social, Emotional and Mental health needs

Academics LTD are working with an outstanding Special Education Needs (SEN) school in Reading seeking a SEN Assistant. Position would require working on a 1:1 and group basis with SEN students. This is a full-time long-term role, and the school are looking for the SEN Assistant to start ASAP.
The SEN Assistant role will entail supporting children from the ages: 3-18, with a range of needs: Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, behavioural challenges, sensory issues, physical disabilities and communication difficulties.
The SEN Assistant will also require close collaboration with other SEN practitioners and members of staff, to promote well-being of students, as well as completion of Learning Milestones and academic objectives.

Ability to work well under pressure Compassionate and positive mind-set Demonstrated Interest in working with children or in Mental HealthFacilities include Art/IT/Drama rooms, large outdoor field and an exceptional sports hall.
