Young Persons Support Worker
Are you passionate about making a difference in people's lives?
We're seeking dedicated Support Workers to join our team. You'll work closely with clients facing a range of challenges, including homelessness, substance misuse, mental health issues, and trauma.
* Location: Newport
* Hours: Full-time Temporary hours available (37.5 hours per week)
* Salary: £12.82 - £14.00 per hour inclusive of holiday pay
What you'll do:
* Empower clients: Provide tailored support to help individuals overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.
* Build relationships: Foster strong connections with clients and local agencies to create a supportive network.
* Work autonomously: Manage your own caseload and schedule, working both remotely and in the community.
* Develop your skills: Gain expertise in areas like trauma-informed care, substance misuse, and housing law.
What we're looking for:

* Resilience and adaptability: The ability to navigate challenges and find creative solutions.
* Strong communication skills: The capacity to build rapport and work effectively with diverse individuals.
* A can-do attitude: A proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
* Relevant experience: Previous experience in support work or housing is preferred.
* Full UK driving license and access to a car.
