Key Responsibilities
People
* Lead the front of house team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
* Coach, train, and empower your team to grow and develop
* Create a positive and engaged work environment
* Assist GM with culturally led experiential events & workshops
* Manage online reputation and respond to reviews
* Handle complaints with understanding
* Assist with managing the Housekeeping Department
* Recruit, induct, and train new talent
* Recognise and train your team on sales opportunities
* Be on call for management responsibilities when required
Places
* Implement Room2 standard operating procedures
* Be a property systems expert, resolve errors, and train the team
* Understand & assist with Health & Safety Compliance and maintenance

* Prioritise the planet in business decisions
* Participate in company social responsibility initiatives

Experience Needed
* Solid foundation in hotel operations, ideally from roles such as front desk or guest services manager
* Experience in diverse areas, including food and beverage, housekeeping, and event planning
* Proven experience managing and motivating teams, handling staffing issues, and fostering a positive work culture
* Strong track record of ensuring guest satisfaction and resolving complaints
* Experience in budgeting, revenue management, and cost control
* Familiarity with hotel management software
* Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make sound decisions
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Attention to detail
* Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
