Key Responsibilities:
Conducting regular, ad-hoc van inspections to ensure vehicles are well-maintained, serviced, and compliant with safety regulations, including axle weights.
Processing and tracking parking and driving infringements, handling fines, penalties, and corrective actions promptly.
Coordinating stock deliveries, working with relevant teams to ensure efficient distribution across the fleet.
Managing van swaps, ensuring timely vehicle exchanges that meet operational needs.
Ensuring that vehicles involved in swaps are in good working order and meet operational requirements.
Supporting driver training programs, including inductions and eco-driving training.
Accurately entering and updating fleet data in management systems.
Investigating fuel report discrepancies, identifying areas for improvement, and working with drivers and managers to address issues.
Taking action on non-compliance or repeated infringements, providing feedback to relevant teams.
Monitoring driver idling times, ensuring adherence to anti-idling policies.
Providing daily operational support, assisting with administrative tasks, and stepping in for staff during absences.
Skills and Experience:
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Knowledge of fleet compliance and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and driver fixable issues.
Understanding of vehicle safety and axle weight limits.
A full clean driving licence
