Job Title: PMO Analyst
Location : Chiswick, London – Hybrid Working
About the role
We are looking for an experienced PMO Analyst in our Chiswick, London office, embracing a hybrid work model with 2-3 days on-site per month. As the PMO Analyst you will be vital in ensuring that all BSI projects and programmes are managed in accordance with BSI standards and processes for project, programme and portfolio governance and financial control.
In this role within the ever growing and maturing PMO Function you will be helping in developing processes and sharing best practice.

Responsibilities:
1. Provide expert advice and guidance to project managers, programme managers and accountable executives on how to deliver based on appropriate frameworks and best practice.
2. Apply governance and control techniques to projects and programmes to ensure adherence to relevant frameworks, processes and standards.
3. Support development, implementation and embedding of all PMO services in line with best practice.
4. Advise and support project and programme managers on cadence and rhythm for all governance activities.
5. Work with the Finance team to maintain a keen understanding of BSI’s standards and processes for project and programme budgeting and project accounting.
6. Champion and support best practice for project and programme managers in the identification of risks and issues ensuring these are recorded, tracked, monitored and communicated appropriately.
7. Establish and maintain Portfolio level reporting and governance working with all project and programme managers and ensuring timely and accurate reporting, offering insight and intelligence to the IT and Business stakeholders along with a strong but adaptable adherence to governance protocols.
8. Track and deliver regular project/programme interventions such as health checks and audit, as required – share the lessons learned from such events to all PMO and programme members.
To be successful in the role, you will have:
9. Proven experience in another PMO Role.
10. Worked within a PMO Business where the function is still maturing.
11. Proactive and forward thinking.
12. Strong stakeholder management.
13. Clear communication and ability to tailor their approach dependant on stakeholder.
14. Experience working under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
15. PMO IT experience – Desirable
16. Portfolio and Project Management Tools & SDLC Experience.
