This role comes with a Team Leader Development Programme delivered by senior management; enhancing your knowledge of legislation and developing strategies to manage your workload, delegate tasks and ensure safe practice.
About the Role:
As the engine of our home, you'll lead the day-to-day operations, ensuring the needs of our children and team members are met with excellence. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering excellent care to children with complex physical, emotional, and learning needs
- Supervising staff and providing guidance and support
- Planning and leading shifts to ensure smooth operations
- Providing keywork support and overseeing care planning
- Ensuring excellent reporting and recording practices
- Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
You must have
- Previous experience of working as a Residential Childcare Team Leader or an experienced Residential Childcare Worker with additional responsibilities
- Level 4 Children, Young People and Families Practitioner (or working towards)
- Good knowledge of CHR 2015 Regulations and Guide to the Children Home Regulations and Quality Standards
- Good quality writing and IT skills
- Sound understanding of Safeguarding and Safer Caring Practices when supporting vulnerable children

Team Leader Salary
The annual salary includes sleep in shift
The hourly rate for this role is £13.50 - £16.00 (plus sleep in shifts)

Pay: £31,200.00-£36,400.00 per year
