Prospero Teaching are recruiting for an SEN English Teacher to join Special Education Needs School in Croydon, within the in South London, As an SEN English Teacher for secondary pupils from Year 7 to Year 11, you will be responsible for teaching students with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health () challenges SEMH, and other related needs. This role involves delivering Functional Skills Level English lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs and abilities of each pupil. You will design and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that promote progress in English language and literacy while adapting materials and strategies to suit individual learning styles. A key focus will be on fostering a positive and supportive classroom environment, encouraging students confidence, and facilitating meaningful peer interactions.
