About the role:
You will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives:
1. Assess clients' temporary housing needs and eligibility for accommodation support.
2. Coordinate temporary accommodation placements based on availability and suitability.
3. Liaise with housing providers to secure suitable temporary housing options.
4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of placements, agreements, and client information.
5. Provide guidance and support to clients regarding housing options, rights, and responsibilities.
About you:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
6. Experience working within housing services.
7. Knowledge of housing policies, regulations, and support services.
8. Experience in handling crisis situations, such as homelessness or emergency housing needs, and providing appropriate support and interventions.
What’s on offer:
Salary: £17+ per hour
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension
Hours: Monday – Friday, 36 hours per week
