The role
This role in the Distribution, Payments and Digital team within British Airways, aims to deliver insightful and actionable analysis to influence decision making within the Digital department and wider commercial team, with a key focus on driving revenue and customer experience improvements. It will look to provide a deep understanding of digital performance through the use of analytics.
What you’ll do:
1. Become an expert in BA Digital performance
2. Measure effectiveness of Digital marketing activity and Digital trading tactics
3. Deliver accurate and timely analysis, interpret output and communicate clearly and effectively to drive business change
4. Proactively develop site performance analysis to deliver actionable recommendations
5. Responsible for Digital test and learn product development evaluation
6. Build effective working relationships with product owners
7. Support others in using Adobe Analytics to ensure the value driven from the tool meets the requirement
8. Shared responsibility for Adobe Analytics using Tag Management technology to ensure data integrity and best practice of digital performance analysis
9. Collaborate effectively within and across teams to drive business improvement.
What you will bring to the team:
10. Strong analytical skills: Highly numerate and able to generate and structure insight from complex and sometime disparate data.
11. Skilled in data cleansing, manipulation and extraction from multiple sources.
12. Proficient at interrogating and interpreting complex data, critically evaluating output and identifying actionable recommendations, considering the wider context and impact of alternative solutions.
13. Highly experienced in data visualisation techniques, identifying new and insightful ways to convey data and insights.
14. Excellent data storyteller who effectively communicates results and recommendations to stakeholders with varying levels of technical ability to drive action.
15. Strong customer awareness, commercially astute both strategically and analytically, with ability to see application of data insights to business problems.
16. Good stakeholder and portfolio management.
17. Numerate degree or demonstrated numerical competence in relevant role
18. Experienced in web analytics tools. Adobe/Google and data exploitation: SQL and/or Python
