Everychild Partnership Trust is built on a shared vision to create inclusive, high-quality learning environments for every child. We were formed following the merger of Everychild and Partners in Learning Trusts, two organisations united by their passion for pupil-centred education. Our mission is to engage, equip, and empower children to achieve their full potential while building sustainable and thriving communities within and beyond the classroom. We are equally passionate about developing excellent educators through training support and promoting staff wellbeing. At Everychild Partnership Trust, we also invest in our staff, offering dynamic, supportive work environments with opportunities for professional growth. Following the retirement of Jill Abbot, we now seek a new Chief Finance and Operations Officer as we look to continue our development as a trust. About the role. As CFOO, you will lead the development of shared services, ensuring cost-efficiency, consistency, and quality across all functional areas. You’ll lead our financial planning, risk management and compliance, ensuring that resources are deployed effectively to enhance educational outcomes. Your work will also oversee key initiatives such as academy conversions, capital investments, and infrastructure improvements. Beyond finance, the role includes strategic leadership in HR, IT, and estates management. You’ll work to develop a people-focused culture, promoting staff wellbeing, professional growth, and inclusivity. By championing innovation and collaboration, you’ll ensure our schools have the tools and support they need to succeed. Governance is another critical aspect, with the CFOO serving as a trusted advisor to the Board and contributing to effective decision-making through clear analysis and recommendations. You’ll also ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards, safeguarding the Trust’s integrity. Who we are looking for. This role requires a strategic and operational leader committed to the Trust’s values of inclusivity, collaboration and excellence. We seek someone who can demonstrate experience in senior leadership roles integrating financial and operational management. Our ideal candidate will come with a track record in delivering strategic and operational improvements within complex organisations alongside expertise in financial planning, risk management, and regulatory compliance. The role demands a strategic thinker with outstanding problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage complexity with creativity and precision. You will be an inspiring and collaborative leader who can motivate teams and build relationships with stakeholders. This role offers a unique opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation dedicated to making a tangible difference in education and creating a thriving environment for its pupils, staff, and communities. If you are a visionary leader ready to drive innovation and deliver exceptional outcomes, this is the perfect opportunity to contribute to the Trust’s ambitious vision.
