This position will support federal project work for clients that require U.S. Citizenship.
Responsibilities:
1. Be responsible for the supervision, guidance, and review of power system analysis tasks and projects conducted by the members of CDM Smith’s electrical practice.
2. Serve as CDM Smith's power system analysis technical expert in highly technical electrical matters.
3. Work in the capacity of a liaison with individuals and units within and outside of CDM Smith.
4. Work independently as the electrical lead or as project manager on multiple tasks and projects.
5. Provide support to business development activities of a highly technical electrical nature.
6. Operate in the capacity of a technical and professional leader and as a mentor for lower-level employees.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. 12 years of related experience.
2. Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a college degree.
3. Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience with power systems for water, wastewater, industrial, federal, and transit facilities.
2. Familiar with industry and federal codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, NESC, IEEE, UFC, etc.)
3. Published in IEEE Journals or Transactions, or other technical journals is a plus.
4. Proficiency in power system planning.
5. Applied expertise in distributed generation, alternative energy, and microgrid systems.
6. Proficiency with designing, troubleshooting, and problem-solving for medium voltage distribution systems.
7. Proficient with SKM Power*Tools and ETAP.
8. Proficiency with other electrical system analysis software.

Pay Range:
Minimum: $104,229
Maximum: $182,374
Work Location Options:
Hybrid Work Options may be considered for successful candidate.
