Do you have an interest and passion for understanding and working with children who require assessment/treatment for ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder)? Do you want to work alongside a well-established and compassionate team in helping to assess and support these families? Then we have the right role for you. Scarborough, Whitby & Ryedale Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services are seeking to recruit a CAMHS Clinician to work within our ADHD Team.
The team is in a position to help staff develop knowledge and experience within CAMHS and offer additional training as appropriate to the role, but are keen to recruit an individual who has experience in this area and can bring that experience to the team.
Please note this post requires candidates to have a professional registration as a Child Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurse, Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will become an integral part of the ADHD multi-disciplinary team, which will include observations, specialist assessments, report writing, and involvement in QB testing in order to deliver a clinically compliant assessment pathway for those children and young people up to the age of 18 years.
If you enjoy working within an experienced and inclusive team who are passionate about supporting children and young people and their families/carers, and enjoy a challenge and have a flexible approach, then we would like to hear from you. You will need to be confident in your own clinical decision-making skills.
