Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Classroom Teaching Assistant to join a thriving primary school in Layton. This is a full-time role starting April 21st, offering an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the learning journey of young students.
Key Responsibilities
As a Teaching Assistant for Year 2, you will:
* Support Classroom Learning: Work alongside the teacher to deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
* Provide Individualized Support: Assist students who may require additional help, ensuring every child achieves their full potential.
* Encourage Positive Behaviours: Promote a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment and help manage pupil behaviour effectively.
* Assist with Lesson Preparation: Aid in preparing learning materials, resources, and activities to enhance the classroom experience.
* Contribute to Student Progress: Monitor and support pupils’ development, providing constructive feedback where needed.
